Description of the flight

Ballooning Orduña valley, Valderejo and Urdaibai - Bilbao - Spain

Three flight zones with impresive landscapes.

1. The valley Orduña , surrounded by a circus of vertical walls of more than 800 m offers some incredible views just 40 miles south of Bilbao .

2. Urdaibai nature park located at the estuary of Mundaka . It extends from Gernika to the mouth at sea. In this area, sometimes the weather permits flying in the afternoon. (AREA NOT ALWAYS AVALAIBLE FOR WETHER REASONS, ASK FOR MORE INFORMATION)

3. Valderejo , one of the last valleys of western Alevès, crossed by the River Purón, the Natural Park is surrounded by walls of limestone.

Activity

Pasos de vuelo

Preparing & Inflation of the balloon. The activity begin early in the morning when, after introductions and some instructions we all participate in the inflation of the balloon, a magic experience.

Taking off & Flight. After half an hour we are ready to take off. First moment non touching foot on the ground is unforgettable. We'll fly during one hour and a half aprox. And the itinerary will be showed by the wind.


Landing & Rescue. Our 4 wheel drive car will follow us communicated by radio, it will pick we up after landing. Friends who don't wish to fly the balloon can reach the landing point along with his vehicle, our 4x4, participate in the celebration of the flight later.

Celebration & End of activity. We will celebrate the experience in a typical country restaurant with a typical "amarretako" lunch with champagne and a flight certificate. Around 13:00 h we will finish the activity and we'll take you to the meeting point.
