Globus Kon-Tiki has always respected sustainability, seeking ways to ensure that our balloon flights have the least possible impact on the environment.
Thanks to the programme promoted by the Gerència de Turisme de la Diputació de Barcelona with the support of the Cambra de Comerç de Barcelona, Globus Kon-Tiki obtained the Biosphere Certification, a pioneering certification based on the 17 SDGs, awarded by the Institut de Turisme Responsable (ITR) and recognised by the Consell Global de Turisme Sostenible (GSTC).
The aim of the project is to recognise companies, services and organisations that are committed to environmentally responsible management, cultural respect, and social and economic return. Its methodology is based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
Our ultimate objective is to offer our clients the quality and reassurance that, by choosing us, they are also contributing to achieving and maintaining a more sustainable planet.
